Hurricane Helene long term disaster recovery continues, with a volunteer group representing two churches from Fredrick, Md.

Hurricane Helene delivered waters in the High Country of North Carolina to unprecedented levels of a 100 year flood, or probably greater, in September, 2024. Long term response is core to the United Church of Christ’s mission approach to disaster recovery work.
